Alabama Shakes showed up on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night to perform their Sound & Color album closer “Over My Head.” The sparsely arranged number made for an incredible showcase for singer Brittany Howard, the frontwoman transfixing on stage with her singular wail, as well as with a variety of arm waves and some well-timed shimmying. Watch the performance below, which reduced the show’s host to a series of rapturous moans in response.
