The music video for Twin Shadow’s Eclipse cut “I’m Ready” is an interesting mishmash of ideas. The crisp, black-and-white film plays a little like a less-intense Fast and Furious movie, as there’s plenty of driving and a little gunplay, and it appears George Lewis Jr. is involved with some shady characters. However, the plot of the Lance Drake-directed video gets strange when he suddenly pulls out a giant glass sword that looks like it could be wielded by Cloud Strife. It’s slick, fun, and more than a little confusing. Try to make sense of it above.
