Last year, Robyn teamed up with Röyksopp for their Do It Again EP, an all-too-short effort that left fans clamoring for more of the sprightly Swedish singer. As has been oft discussed, in 2014, her longtime collaborator Christian Falk passed away following a fight with pancreatic cancer, leaving a supposed Robyn project in flux.
It’s 2015 though, and Robyn knows how to keep the ball rolling, having just announced a new project called La Bagatelle Magique — featuring the late Falk, herself, and her keyboard player Markus Jägerstedt — who’ll play Stockholm’s Dans Dakar festival on August 21 through 22. There’s a website for the group, on which there’s a looped, conga-esque snippet (below) of a new track that is called, according to the page’s code, “Love Is Free,” which Robyn also played on her co-headlining tour with Röyksopp last summer.
