Last week, we heard news that Prince had recorded a “tribute to all of the people of the city of Baltimore” at his Paisley Park studio. Today, that song, now titled “Baltimore,” has surfaced. Considering the weighty subject matter, the track itself is a breezy, vocal harmony-laden number featuring an airy, freewheeling guitar solo. The Soundcloud description notes that “all involved in this project never take for granted the privileges we have in this country” and implores everyone to “continue to fight the good fight and confront inhumanity on every level until the day it is no longer.”
