Manic Street Preachers Debut Stateside on ‘James Corden’

Welsh alt-rock collective Manic Street Preachers were a BFD in Britain in the mid-’90s, so it’s kind of shocking that they’ve never played an American late-night program before last night. Well, we can thank Late Late Show host James Corden for bringing the band on for their first American TV performance ever. Playing their 1996 single “A Design for Life” (taken from their album Everything Must Go), frontman James Dean Bradfield howled through the bombastic track, making their debut set an undeniably successful one. Watch it above.
