M83 Team with Jean-Michel Jarre for Synth Epic ‘Glory’

A few days ago, French composer/producer/figurehead Jean-Michel Jarre shared previews from three vinyl EPs set to drop June 19, one per collaboration with Massive Attack, Tangerine Dream, and M83 — which will then appear in Jarre’s still-untitled forthcoming album. On Friday (May 15), Jarre shared his full song with the last of the bunch, the seven-minute “Glory.” In a video about the making of the ethereally hissing, sparkling track, M83 frontman Anthony Gonzalez says, “[Jean-Michel Jarre] did so much for electronic music, especially for my generation of artists. I’m talking about Daft Punk, Phoenix, Justice… For me, it was an amazing opportunity to collaborate with one of my favorite artists of all time.
