The fantastic, fully authorized documentary about the great Kurt Cobain, Montage of Heck, recently debuted on HBO, but that’s just what The Man wants you to believe. For more conspiracy-minded Nirvana fans, there’s Soaked in Bleach, a melodramatic docudrama that combines reenactments and a handful of interviews making a shaky case for the claim that Courtney Love staged Cobain’s suicide. The film, which premieres on June 11, looks pretty absurd based off of the new trailer, but then again, maybe SPIN is just another cog in the machine keeping the truth down. Don’t trust anyone.
