Kendrick Lamar Brings Ballroom Dancers to Perform ‘These Walls’ on ‘Ellen’

Kendrick Lamar’s rare television performances are always pretty special and his appearance on Ellen this afternoon proved to be no exception. Rather than just give a straightforward rendition of his To Pimp a Butterfly track “These Walls,” Kendrick brought along a pair of ballroom dancers who twirled to the disembodied basslines and a painter who handed off his work to Ellen herself afterward. K-Dot for his part managed to give an expectedly fiery run through his bars, rivaling even his stunning Colbert Report performance from earlier this year. Watch it up above.
