Courtney Barnett’s March LP, Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, has already proven to be one of the most exciting (and most Essential) albums of the year so far. But who knew that when the songs are stripped down they have an even more tender core? Barnett has done just that for a recent Take Away Show, making the already affecting “Depreston” more devastating by paring it back to just her voice and a single electric guitar part. And as per usual for these La Blogotheque affairs, the Parisian backdrop adds a regal air to the proceedings. Watch it below.
