Zedd knows his way around the pop landscape at this point, but it’s nice to see the young Russian-born producer return to his heart-pounding trance days on songs such as “Addicted to a Memory,” the newest taste of his upcoming album, True Colors, the follow-up to 2012’s Clarity Featuring the vocals of American girl group Bahari, the track shoots flares up into the sky with its clanging melodies and tropical, echoing synthesizers.
