A new bonus track from the Japanese release of Blur’s comeback album The Magic Whip has hit the ‘net, and as you might guess from the ominously goofy title — “Y’all Doomed” — that it’s a bit of a trip. The mostly instrumental track builds at a frantic pace, managing to be more or less in line with the rest of the album’s measured, observant tone, while also being off-the-walls-bonkers. It’s a fun, energetic experiment, and a nice little bonus for Blur fans in the Land of the Rising Sun — or anywhere else in the world who’ll listen to the vinyl rip above.
