Killer Mike has been invited to Washington D.C. for the White House Press Correspondents’ Dinner. The Run the Jewels rapper, who has been very outspoken about race relations in his music and in the press, is scheduled to give a lecture about the subject to MIT students the day before the April 25 political dinner party. According to Stereogum, Mike was invited as a special guest by The Huffington Post. Other notable musicians on the guest list to the swanky event include Gladys Knight, Ciara, Pete Wentz and Rob Thomas. Saturday Night Live‘s Cecily Strong will host. There’s no word if Killer Mike has accepted the offer, or if El-P is feeling snubbed.
