Earl Sweatshirt Dedicates Ten-Minute-Long ‘Solace’ to His Mom

Just a month after releasing his new album I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside, Earl Sweatshirt has shared “Solace,” a lengthy mix dedicated to the rapper’s mother. Calling it “music from when i hit the bottom and found something,” the Odd Future member keeps things woozy and complicated. “Trying to make some sense of all this shit in my brain / One foot stuck in a tar pit of my ways,” he rhymes on the ten-minute long mix. Stream “Solace” below, and revisit SPIN‘s review of I Don’t Like Shit here.
