Kiesza, the Weeknd, and Magic! Win Big at the 2015 Juno Awards

Kiesza was the big winner at Juno Awards over the weekend, taking home the Breakthrough Artist of the Year trophy and picking up two more of Canada’s top music awards as well. The Calgary native won Dance Recording of the Year for Sound of a Woman and Video of the Year for “Hideaway” during the ceremony at the FirstOntario Center in Hamilton, Ontario. The enthusiastically named reggae group Magic! and their hit song “Rude” beat out Kiesza for Single of the Year, while the Weeknd won Artist of the Year and R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for “Often.” Leonard Cohen won his sixth Juno award in the form of the Album of the Year trophy for his record Popular Problems. Check out the full list of winners on the Juno Awards’ website.
