It would seem that Jack White is a big fan of the King. The White Stripes frontman secretly bought Elvis Presley’s first ever recording at auction for a cool $300,000, and plans to reissue it for Record Store Day through his label, Third Man Records. Elvis recorded the two songs, covers of “My Happiness” and “That’s When Your Heartache Begins,” in July 1953 at Memphis Recording Service when he was just 18 years old. White will make the vinyl available on Record Store Day April 18.
