Sleater-Kinney Start ‘A New Wave’ on ‘Letterman’

Sleater-Kinney, Letterman, No Cities To Love, A New Wave

Normally when you say someone did something “kicking and screaming,” that’s not such a good thing, but kicking and screaming is just what Sleater-Kinney do. The recently reunited trio looked thrilled to be on the Late Show with David Letterman last night, as Carrie Brownstein led the group through “A New Wave,” off their upcoming album No Cities to Love. The trio performed some pretty impressive high-kicks during the energetic song’s breakdown, shredding the entire time.

Sleater-Kinney looked and sounded great, and if you weren’t already excited about their tour than we’ll be surprised if this doesn’t get you antsy. Watch above, and check out No Cities to Love, currently streaming on NPR, and in stores on January 20.
