Goddamn, Run the Jewels are cool. Killer Mike and El-P dropped by Conan on Thursday night to perform “Lie, Cheat, Steal” off of their second self-titled record, and they playfully spar their way through the intense song like the pros they are.
After they finished the not-quite-lyrically-law-abiding track, however, the rappers faced some of Conan O’Brien‘s joking objections to the command in the song’s title. “I’m not doing that!” he said, instantly erasing whatever street cred the ginger host might’ve accrued over the years.
