Rivers Cuomo is best known for being the leader singer of Weezer. He is not, nor has he ever been, a member of the band Incubus. Despite this, Cuomo is plagued by fan mail meant for Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd that keeps getting mailed to his house. The beleaguered singer detailed his plight in an appearance on Larry King’s web series Larry King Now.
“I get these elaborate fan packages, only they’re not for me, they’re for the singer of Incubus, Brandon Boyd,” he explained, noting that he’d received Boyd’s mail at two different home addresses. Stereogum notes that Cuomo mentioned his mail problem in a Reddit AMA a month ago. So, either someone is pulling a confusing joke, or the world’s most dedicated Incubus fan needs to update his address book.
