Passion Pit frontman Michael Angelakos stars in a new PSA to help raise awareness for those struggling with bipolar disorder. Titled #StrongerThanStigma and organized by Bring Change 2 Mind, the clip features Angelakos, who has openly discussed his own struggles with the disorder following the cancellation of some Gossamer tour dates, discussing his treatment and working to accept his diagnosis. “Once I started accepting my mental condition, it stung for a little bit, and then everything improved,” he says in the clip. “When people ask me what it’s like to live with bipolar, you just have to adjust and figure out exactly how you’re going to live your life the way you want to live it and achieve what you want to achieve.
