Hot on the heels of her critically acclaimed 2014 full-length, The Voyager, Jenny Lewis returns to Austin City Limits on Saturday, January 24. Ahead of that broadcast, we’ve got a web exclusive clip of Lewis performing one of that album’s standouts, “The New You,” a bubbly track that takes a hatchet to the concept of running from one’s problems. Lewis is her own brand of spectacular, simultaneously down to earth and above the clouds in the same breath. Her ACL performance of “The New You” is no different: decked out in her now-trademark rainbow suit, the singer delivers a uniquely sentimental take on love and regret.
Note: The Rilo Kiley frontwoman is no stranger to Austin, having just played both ACL Festival weekends last October, including an appearance at the famous Stubb’s BBQ for an aftershow that went into the wee hours of the night.
