A few days after releasing their kitschy “Make You Butter” — er, “Make You Better” — video, the Decemberists visited Conan last night to perform the lead single from their upcoming album, What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World. Led by the warbling Colin Meloy, the Portland band sailed through the live track with the supportive ease that only old friends could achieve.
