Jonny Greenwood has at last unveiled his soundtrack for the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed film adaptation of Thomas Pynchon‘s Inherent Vice. Featuring original music from the guitarist/film composer, the score showcases a rework of Radiohead’s formerly unreleased “Spooks” (performed by Greenwood and Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey of Supergrass) and “Under The Paving-Stones, The Beach!,” voiceover work from Inherent Vice narrator Joanna Newsom, plus a handful of classic cuts from Neil Young (“Journey Through the Past”), Can (“Vitamin C”), Les Baxter (“Simba”), and Minnie Riperton (“Les Fleur”).
