One of the greatest things about becoming famous is the ability to meet your idols. Tyler, the Creator — who unabashedly loves Pharrell — got to meet and interview his hero when the “Happy” singer headlined Odd Future’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, where he also reunited with N.E.R.D. and made Tyler cry real tears. Chatting with Pharrell on behalf of Mass Appeal, Tyler asked his hero if he was “sweaty and wet right now” (without even a hint of irony) and if “he enjoys wearing holey shirts.” Not the most revelatory interview, but the important thing is that the “Tamale” rapper looked like he was on cloud nine.
