Nicki Minaj’s latest fiery Young Money posse cut “Only” came along with some cover art that imagined Drake as the pope and Lil Wayne as some sort of important political figure. Friday night, that artwork came to life in a new lyric video, as Billboard points out. Featuring an animated Minaj, who’s clearly running the show, and Chris Brown dressed in full military regalia (in addition to Pope Drake and Warmonger Wayne), animated tanks, exploding missiles, and anonymous soldiers fill the five-minute clip. Everything seems to suggest that Nicki spent her Summer of Ass prepping for some grim-faced world domination.
Even though it’s been pushed back, Minaj’s forthcoming album The Pinkprint will still hit stores in just a little over a month on December 12.
