Watch Giorgio Moroder’s Pupil-Dilating ’74 Is the New 24′ Video

Giorgio Moroder

Forever-young Italian producer Giorgio Moroder — who some young’uns might remember from his work on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories — has a new video to accompany his new funk-tinged electro banger, “74 is the New 24,” which, yes, is a reference to his actual advanced age. In his neon-toned visuals, the Midnight Express scorer illustrates his thesis: A jet-black background sets the stage for swirling animations of vintage cars and flying machines, which morph into agile young men. As they run, particle-pieced humans of every age evolve into shimmering rhinos, tigers, and eagles. Sure.

Watch above, and look out for Moroder’s forthcoming release in spring 2015 via RCA, a star-studded disc with cameos from the likes of Britney Spears, Charli XCX, Sia, Kylie Minogue, Matthew Koma, Foxes, and more.
