FKA Twigs Performs Spellbinding ‘Two Weeks’ on ‘Tonight Show’

FKA Twigs, Jimmy Fallon, Two Weeks

You probably wouldn’t expect the U.S. network TV debut of FKA Twigs to be your run-of-the-mill late-night fare, and indeed, the British singer/songwriter/producer/dancer gave The Tonight Show a performance of her signature hit that was run-of-nothing. Twigs sang “Two Weeks” in front of a quaking light show, with a gorgeous, light fabric (officially deemed an “air sculpture” and designed by artist Daniel Wurtzel, according to Pitchfork) dancing behind her. And of course, she didn’t really need any of it, as she’d have been plenty captivating on her own, dancing slowly and fluidly as if swimming through mid-air, hitting every quivering note with perfect abandon.

“Oh my goodness,” yelped Fallon at the end. “I’ve never seen anything like that before.” You don’t say, Jimmy. Watch above.
