Though Iggy Azalea handily dominated the first half of 2014 with her hit single “Fancy,” the past few months have taken a different, headline-grabbing turn. There have been accusations about the supposed existence of an Iggy sex tape with — as well as an alleged secret marriage to — her former flame, Jeff Wine, who’s been the source of the rumors and recently filed for common law divorce from the chart-topping rapper-singer. Today, the New Classic MC fired back at Wine with a series of tweets addressing the situation head-on.
When we say Iggy gets into it, that’s no joke. According to the “Black Widow” rapper, the lawyer representing her ex-boyfriend/manager recently threatened to tell the press that she’d given Wine a sexually transmitted disease while they were together. (And to recap, she was 17 years old while the two were dating.) Iggy also commented on the legality of seeking a “common law divorce,” as well as her recent fears about visiting Wine’s home state of Texas. Read it all below.
