Over the past few weeks, we’ve gotten some pretty substantive glimpses at Calvin Harris’ upcoming album Motion (due November 4). He reteamed with Ellie Goulding for the pop-burst “Outside,” and showed off his deep-house credibility on the weirdly gorgeous “Slow Acid.” Today, however, the Scottish producer has dipped his toe into the world of rap with “Open Wide,” a collaboration with Big Sean.
“Bartender, I call the shots / We call for shots / Y’all call the cops,” Sean raps on top of Harris’ building, staccato beats. The video is equally as bonkers as the hyper-sexualized track, featuring a massive shootout, a ballerina dancer doing twirls in the middle of a parking lot, and Sean himself bopping around a darkly lit bedroom. Stream the video above, and look out for Motion cuts featuring HAIM and Gwen Stefani to come next Tuesday.
