The Afghan Whigs Get ‘Lost In The Woods’ in New Video

afghan whigs, do the beast, lost in the woods

Just in time for Halloween, the reunited Afghan Whigs have unveiled an eerie new video for “Lost in the Woods,” a single from their seventh studio album, Do to the Beast.

Taking the “Lost in the Woods” concept pretty literally, the band’s new clip, which is helmed by Afghan favorite Philip Harder, is a black-and-white hodgepodge of woodland imagery. A wolf runs through a thicket, two women clad in all-white perform an interpretive dance, a man whose face is painted to resemble a skeleton makes creepy eyes at the camera, and a lady may or may not have consumed a poison apple and collapsed by a pond. Why? Only The Afghan Whigs know.

Get goosebumps from “Lost in the Woods” over at Stereogum, find Do To The Beast is via Sub Pop and iTunes, and make sure to grab tickets to the band’s upcoming world tour (dates below).
