The iconic cover of the Beatles’ 11th studio album Abbey Road has spawned a handful of famous spoofs, but it’s apparently become quite the tourist attraction in the 45 years since the albums release. As The Independent (via Stereogum) points out, Abbey Road Studios has a webcam pointed at the famed crosswalk and you can watch 24/7 as Beatles fans hold up traffic by making their way across the intersection and posing for pictures that replicate the album. It’s probably a less cheesy London tourist photo than posing in front of Big Ben, but not by much.
So watch over at the studios’ website. Things tend to slow down during the nighttime hours, but once the sun rises count on tons and tons of people blocking cars that are trying to simply make their way down the road.
