Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Gender-Bend in ‘Tonight Show’ Lip-Sync Battle

Gwen Stefani Blake Shelton 'Tonight Show' Lip Synch Battle Video

Two weeks after The Voice judge and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to debut some of his most uncanny celebrity singing impressions, fellow judges Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton dropped by the show for a massive lip-sync battle with the show’s joke-cracking host.

The star Shelton kicked things off by “performing” a version of “Puttin’ on the Ritz” by Taco, complete with creepy winks, a glass of champagne, and a tap dance routine to boot. Fallon followed with an unremarkable take on the British pop star Ellie Goulding’s hit single “Burn,” but then No Doubt frontwoman Stefani took the mic, addressed the host as “Jimmy Kimmel,” and got down to business on a high energy version of Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.”

The battle continued into a second round, which included songs by Starship and Spike Jones, as well as a duet by Lionel Richie (Stefani) and Diana Ross (Shelton, enjoying himself as much as you could imagine he would). You can watch the entire goofy segment above.
