Watch New Pornographers’ Tear Through ‘Dancehall Domine’ at Secret Show

The New Pornographers New Song Dancehall Domine Video

The New Pornographers kickstarted our summer with word of a new album and a stream of the title track, “Brill Bruisers.” Soon after, they followed up with an action-filled video for the first single, “War on the East Coast.” And now the Canadian superband’s delivered “Dancehall Domine” via a secret (and Neko Case-less) show in Vancouver shot for CBC Music. Experience that song and its raucous chorus above.

Before the set, leader A.C. Newman chatted about the new record, as Pitchfork reports, telling the interviewer, “I think the voices melded together much more seamlessly than ever before. I think this record is closest to what I always wanted us to be, where it doesn’t really matter who’s singing … I never wanted us to be a band where we were taking turns singing … I always wanted it to sound like a band. I think we’re a lot closer to that.”
