Neil Young is divorcing from his wife and frequent collaborator Pegi after 36 years of marriage. According to Rolling Stone, the Buffalo Springfield founder filed divorce papers in a San Mateo, California court on July 29, and a subsequent hearing is set for December 12. Official court documents show that Pegi Young filed an ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) request in response to her husband’s divorce filing on August 12. Though Young offered no comment on the split, the singer has had an incredibly busy year, from making an instant vinyl on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to releasing a new album, A Letter Home.
