In the midst of his cross-country tour with fellow Young Money rapper Drake, Lil Wayne made an appearance on First Take this morning to announce that his new album, Tha Carter V, will hit shelves on October 28. Including tracks like “Krazy” and “Believe Me,” the album has long been rumored (confirmed occasionally and also then debunked by Wayne himself) to be the New Orleans rapper’s last album ever.
Wayne also premiered Tha Carter V cover art on the show this morning—check it out below. And, according to Weezy himself, the upcoming LP will include guest appearances from Drake and Nicki Minaj.
