‘Weird Al’ Has a Big Dictionary in Video Parody of Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’

Weird All Blurred Lines Word Crimes Robin Thicke Video

“Weird Al” Yankovic continues his #8videos8days promo campaign today (and his Pharrell fascination) with the release of “Word Crimes,” a grammar-policing take on Robin Thicke’s controversial 2013 single “Blurred Lines.” Like “Tacky,” which took listeners to task for annoying modern habits, Yankovic’s new parody has another “kids these days” take on popular grammatically incorrect turns of phrase, such as using “less” when you mean “fewer” and “it’s” in place of “its.” Check out the video above, which features dancing letters and punctuation rather than unclothed models. You can snag Yankovic’s new album Mandatory Fun over at his website.
