MONEY Go Soul-Searching in Arresting ‘The Shadow of Heaven’ Video

MONEY 'The Shadow of Heaven' Video Manchester Band

MONEY, the band, hail from Manchester and specialize in a glistening sort of rock both heady and beautiful. Their debut album, The Shadow of Heaven purports to be “yearning and soul-searching,” according to label Bella Union, and the titular song certainly doesn’t refute such a statement. Experienced above complete with an arresting video, the song basks in its own openness and finds Jamie Lee cooing of “the cruelty of godliness in us” as guitar billows forth into thick atmosphere. The Liam Healy-directed video focuses mainly on two events: an experiment involving lying down in the midst of a busy sidewalk; and a man making himself up as a woman in private before heading out into the world.
