Last year we premiered TRAAMS’ debut album Grin, which SPIN’s Kyle McGovern called “11 tracks of tunefully deranged, remarkably giddy guitar pop.” Now, the British trio has released a retro-looking, computer-wave video for new track “Selma,” featuring floating guitars and a blurry, colorful aesthetic reminiscent of the ’80s. The stop motion video neatly dovetails with TRAAMS’ self-described “wonky pop” sound and will be followed on July 15 by their upcoming EP, Cissa, produced by Hookworms‘ MJ and former Test Icicles member Rory Atwell. Watch the video above, and pre-order Cissa at FatCat Records.
