On May 13, ex-Walkman Walter Martin will release his debut solo album, the family-friendly and aptly titled We’re All Young Together. The 10-track LP favors easygoing arrangements, playful lyrics, and a number of impressive guest spots. So far, Martin has shared duets with Karen O and the National’s Matt Berninger, as well as an endearing ode to the Beatles. Now, the 39-year-old husband and father of two has released a live video that highlights another ditty called “I-M-A-G-I-N-A-T-I-O-N.” Directed by former Walkmen drummer Matt Barrick, the above clip catches Martin playing the electric piano and leading a sing-and-spell-along rendition of the track, the studio version of which features singer-songwriter Kat Edmonson on backing vocals. Watch the footage above, and head over to iTunes and Amazon to pre-order We’re All Young Together.

And if you’re in the New York area, check out Martin’s May 16 gig at Joe’s Pub in Manhattan (special guests will include Edmonson, Barrick, and Martin’s cousin, ex-Walkmen singer Hamilton Leithauser) and his May 18 performance at Brooklyn’s Littlefield.
