Swedish duo JJ, formerly known as jj, are back and as enigmatic as ever. Elin Kastlander and Joakim Benon first hinted at a proper follow-up to 2010’s n° 3 when they shared a perplexing three-minute trailer last June alongside the new song “Fagelsangen.” The band’s labels announced today that JJ’s third album (and first with the caps-lock on), entitled V, will come out on August 19 via Sincerely Yours/Secretly Canadian. Few other details are available, but you can stream a foreboding new trailer for the album above and read a cryptic missive from the group below.
