Say what you will about Duck Sauce’s new album, Quack — when A-Trak and Armand Van Helden put their bills together to make a music video, it’s an event. Los Angeles director Dugan O’Neal (TV on the Radio, the Temper Trap, Matt & Kim) taps into the ’80s via an infomercial for the song’s titular product: “NRG,” a blue-green gunk that you can drink, spray, smear, or otherwise apply to your life in order to improve just about everything (warning: death may result). As host Jon Daly of Kroll Show posits to viewers at home: “You having trouble finding the beat? Now you can rock.” Revisit the “It’s You” clip on your way out.
