If the raw bass that opens the track below doesn’t tip you off, the title should. “Go Rambo” is an ecstatic, empowering, aggressive wild-out of a punk jammer from Dasher. The Atlanta posse is led by drummer/vocalist Kylee Kimbrough (with bassist David Michaud and guitarist Kelly Stroup) and has a penchant for squalling sonics influenced by the likes of Killing Joke and Patti Smith. The short-but-sweet ripper below arrives via 7-inch May 10, backed with “Time Flys,” via Die Slaughterhaus Records.
