Los Angeles singer/producer/composer Baths is dropping an unexpected EP May 6 on Anticon. Dubbed Ocean Death, the five-song set is billed by the label as “the Dia De Los Muertos to [2013 album] Obsidian‘s Halloween,” and the title track can be hear below. Indeed, if Will Wiesenfeld’s last LP was dark and sleek (check out the Moors remix of “Miasma Sky”), this one seems to brood a little deeper, preferring to creep in the shadows while a rattling four-four Four Tet-ish beat pounds away.
