For her third appearance on the IFC show, the St. Vincent mastermind was on the receiving end of the hassling, matching wits with Fred Armisen’s beloved recording-studio snob, who first appeared in a 2012 episode opposite Jack White’s spirit. In the clip above, he shows up at one of Clark’s Portland gigs to grill her about her guitars, amp, and pedals. It only gets more absurd from there.
