Kanye West and Jay Z Will Reunite for SXSW

Kanye West Jay Z SXSW Show Concert Details Venue

The Throne is back. As Mashable reports, Kanye and Jay Z will perform together for the first time since 2012 at a Samsung-sponsored SXSW concert on Wednesday night at Austin Music Hall. And just like when Jay wrote “the new rules” for the branded release of Magna Carta Holy Grail, you’ll have to play along with the tech giant’s game to be included.

To get a wristband for the show, you’ll have to own a Samsung Galaxy phone with the Milk Music radio app installed on it. Once you have that, youi’ll need to go to the Galaxy Experience at 2nd Street and Trinity in Austin starting today (March 11) at 10 a.m. CT. Good luck!

Samsung did the same thing in 2013 with a concert featuring Prince and A Tribe Called Quest, and this year they’re going even bigger. On top of Jay and Kanye, they’ll host shows featuring Gary Clark Jr., Janelle Monáe, Broken Bells, Holy Ghost!, and Cut Copy over the course of the festival. Details for those shows have yet to be announced.

As business-y as it may sound, we’d still bet on Kanye and Jay Z to pull out a few surprises. Just look at what happened the last time they joined forces at SXSW.
