In the Valley Below are compelling enough all on their own. Guitarist Jeffrey Jacob hails from Memphis, Tennesee. Keyboardist Angela Gail was raised in Muskegon, Michigan. And though it’s not exactly clear whether or not they’re a couple, the pair do make beer and sing together. Take “Peaches,” the first single from their May 6 Capitol Records debut, Man Girl EP. The track could be about mutual attraction, or it could be about a refreshing summer fruit. That’s where Kele Okereke comes in — on the remix you’ll hear below, the Bloc Party singer recasts their synth-folk original as a seven-minute dance epic.
