Watch Wu-Tang Clan’s Never-Before-Seen Video for 2001’s ‘Ya’ll Been Warned’

wu-tang clan, ya'll been warned, video, iron flag

As the world continues to wait for the Wu-Tang Clan’s long-delayed sixth album, a treasure from the rap collective’s fourth record has just been uncovered. Sugar Factory Films has released the never-before-seen music video for “Ya’ll Been Warned,” a stutter-strut found on the Wu’s 2001 LP, Iron Flag. As a video, the clip isn’t too much to look at — just a fuzzy spotlight that jumps from Method Man, RZA, Raekwon, et al., to two female dancers. But as a time capsule piece, the short is a fascinating reminder of hip-hop’s quainter days, when shooting budgets were lower and women in videos wore denim skirts. And to think, this was only a few years after Jay Z gave an interview next to two women performing oral sex on each other.

Watch the video above, and keep waiting for Wu-Tang’s A Better Tomorrow. It’s apparently “coming soon.”
