Chicago MC Tree is dropping a surprise set on January 21 — the @MCTREEG EP, which so far seems chock-full of the rapper-singer’s signature soultrap music. Last week we heard the meditative “Like Whoa,” and now we’ve got the free-to-download “Probably Nu It.” Heard below, the song is a bluesy dedication to an unnamed muse that stays true to the man’s statement that these songs find him at “his most vulnerable yet strongest.” For more from Tree, check out last year’s Sunday School II: When Church Lets Out and earlier offering Trillin’.
