Stream NOMADS’ Barbed Fuzz-Bomb ‘In the Mend’

NØMADS, in the mend

NØMADS is a noise-rock duo formed by Nathan Lithgow — the recording and touring bassist for Inlets and My Brightest Diamond — and drummer Garth MacAleavey, who played percussion on the road for Inlets and who also serves as sound enigneer for the Philip Glass Ensemble and New York venue Le Poisson Rouge. On April 8, Brooklyn record label/collective Mecca Lecca will unleash NØMADS’ debut album, Free My Animal. Produced, recorded, and mixed entirely by Lithgow and MacAleavey, the upcoming LP comes with the rocking “In the Mend,” a fanged first taste that rains death from above, circa 1992. Hear it below, and for a chance to see NØMADS live, pick up tickets for their January 28 gig at Glasslands Gallery.
