Justin Bieber’s DUI Arraignment Set for Valentine’s Day
"Boyfriend" singer not required to be present in court on February 14
The many who are miserable on Valentine’s Day could soon have some famous company. Justin Bieber is scheduled to be arraigned on February 14, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Yup, prosecutors are scheduled to enter formal charges against the Believe singer on the same day he’s traditionally supposed to be overspending for a prix fixe meal.
Why is Bieber in legal hot water? True, police recently investigated the Biebz for an egg raid at his neighbor’s house, but his Valentine’s date is with a Miami judge over charges of DUI, resisting an arrest, and driving with an expired license. Recall, if you will, Bieber’s alleged yellow Lamborghini drag race and all-day pot smoking.
Don’t cry for the 19-year-old pop star, oh Beliebers: The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office told THR the lad need not be in the building for the arraignment. Yeah, but it’d be a shame to stand up a lonely judge on such a special day.
