Katy B Throws Trippiest Rave-for-One in ‘Crying for No Reason’ Video

katy b, crying for no reason, video, little red

Katy B is inching ever closer to the release date of her highly anticipated sophomore album, Little Red. The British pop artiste made her name with 2011’s dubstep-inclined On a Mission, but has since been exploring R&Beats with folks like Jessie Ware (on a song called “Aaliyah,” no less). And stomping dance-floor ballad “Crying for No Reason” has proved a tough one to shake from our ears. Making matters pleasantly more difficult, now our eyes can feast upon it as well. Directed by Sophie Miller and Ross McDowell, the video above is a testament to what can be done with a gigantic warehouse, a camera on a dolly track, and a metric shit-ton of LED strips. Take all that eye-boggling wonderment in, and then bask in the glitzy comedown that is “5 AM.” Little Red is out February 3 via Rinse/Columbia.
